An analysis of media and platform coverage of July 2025 highlights notable variations among Bangladesh’s leading mobile operators—Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, and Teletalk. Grameenphone received the highest overall visibility, with 292 online mentions, complemented by 78 in print and 22 on TV, along with an active presence on social media through 8 Facebook and 8 YouTube mentions. Banglalink followed with a significant 111 online mentions and 37 in print, though comparatively lower exposure on TV (3) and digital platforms (1 Facebook, 9 LinkedIn, 1 YouTube). Robi recorded 63 online and 35 print mentions, but limited coverage across TV (2) and YouTube (1), with no noticeable activity on Facebook or LinkedIn. Teletalk, the state-owned operator, showed the lowest visibility with 10 online mentions and 3 in print, and no coverage on TV or digital platforms.
This breakdown illustrates Grameenphone’s dominance in both traditional and digital media presence, Banglalink’s strong but slightly narrower footprint, Robi’s moderate visibility, and Teletalk’s limited media attention. The findings underline the competitive positioning of operators in Bangladesh’s media landscape, where online coverage continues to play the most influential role.
