Day-wise TVC Airtime in December 2024: Dec 14th Witness Highest Ad Consumption

The analysis of TV commercial (TVC) airtime consumption across 35 local Bangladeshi television channels in December 2024 reveals significant trends in advertising patterns. Over the month, December 14 emerged as the peak day for TVC airtime, with a record duration of 11,206 minutes, reflecting heightened advertising activity.

The first half of the month generally maintained higher airtime durations, averaging around 10,900 minutes daily, with fluctuations between 10,333 and 11,204 minutes. Notably, December 14 recorded the highest value of 11,206 minutes, likely driven by seasonal promotions or campaigns. In contrast, the latter half of the month saw a gradual decline in advertising durations. By December 31, TVC airtime dropped to its lowest at 9,216 minutes.

The declining trend in the latter half of December may be attributed to reduced advertising budgets towards year-end or strategic shifts in promotional efforts. However, the early and mid-month sustained high airtime durations highlight advertisers’ focus on leveraging peak viewing periods.

This data emphasizes the importance of date-specific advertising strategies to optimize audience engagement and ROI. Further analysis could explore correlations between TVC content and consumer behavior during high-consumption periods.
