TVC Spots on Telecom Companies by News Channels
A focused analysis on TVC placements of telecom operators — Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, Airtel, and Teletalk — across eight leading Bangladeshi news channels reveals that Channel 24 Placed the highest percentage of ad spots for telecom companies which is 19%. Somoy TV and Ekattor TV followed with 16% spots each, while Independent TV and NEWS24 aired 15% each. ATN News broadcasted 14% spots, with DBC trailing at 5%. These figures reflect the distribution of ad frequency rather than screen time, providing insight into the telecom sector’s media buying focus among prominent news outlets.
