In July 2025, 35 local Bangladeshi TV channels aired a total of 45,923 minutes of non-linear advertisements, highlighting the growing trend of alternative ad formats beyond traditional commercials. Promo ads dominated the category with 25,410 minutes, accounting for more than half of the total airtime. News branding followed with 8,738 minutes, while L-shape ads, which overlay content without full interruption, occupied 6,084 minutes. Pop-up ads accounted for 3,452 minutes, and countdown formats—often used for program launches or special segments—had 1,239 minutes. The data reflects diversified advertising strategies by broadcasters to capture audience attention without relying solely on conventional TVCs.
