Jamuna TV's 'Rajniti' Most-Viewed Bangladeshi Talk Show on YouTube Throughout August 2025

YouTube has become a powerful space for Bangladeshi audiences to follow daily talk shows, with viewership numbers soaring across the month of August 2025. Political debates and election-focused discussions dominated the scene, drawing millions of engagements on the platform.

According to compiled data, the top 10 YouTube talk show channels—mostly re-telecasts from leading television stations—together generated over 3.5 million views, 76,000+ likes, and more than 22,500 comments throughout the month. The figures are based on counts recorded within 48 hours of each episode’s upload, later summed across August.

Among the individual programs, Jamuna TV’s ‘Rajniti’ led the pack with a combined monthly total of more than one million views, the highest among all talk shows. It was followed by Thikanay Khaled Muhiuddin with 949,070 views, Rajkahon of DBC with 446,880 views, and Channel 24’s Muktobak with 350,700 views.

Engagement went beyond just watching. Thikanay Khaled Muhiuddin collected the highest number of likes (24,100), showing strong audience appreciation. At the same time, Rajniti not only held the crown for viewership but also sparked the most conversation, with nearly 7,000 comments in total—making it the most-discussed talk show on YouTube during August.

Meanwhile, the talk show engagement analysis reveals significant variations in audience interaction across popular talk shows. Engagement rate, which measures total likes and comments as a proportion of total views, serves as a strong indicator of viewer involvement and content resonance.

According to the data, Songlap Protidin engaged 4.10% its viewers through likes and comments, as a proportion of total views. It was the highest among the talk shows. Songlap Protidin was followed by Thikanay Khaled Muhiuddin (3.22%), Tritiyo Matra (3.13%), and other shows.

These trends highlight how YouTube has grown into a central stage for public dialogue in Bangladesh. With elections and politics driving much of the content, shows like Rajniti continue to shape opinion and capture the nation’s attention every single day.
