Grameenphone Spotted with Highest Media Exposure Among the 1,086 total news reports published across 50 major national newspapers, Grameenphone captured the highest share of voice with 49% of the coverage. Since this analysis focuses strictly on the quantity of news rather than the sentiment or tone of the articles, it simply indicates that nearly half of all telecom-related reports in these 50 newspapers were centered around Grameenphone.
Visibility of Banglalink & Robi Other private operators also maintained a steady presence in the daily papers. Banglalink Digital Communications Limited was featured in 28% of the total news items monitored. Close behind was Robi Axiata Limited, which accounted for 22% of the media mentions.
A Quiet Month for Teletalk Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, the only state-owned telecom operator in Bangladesh had a very quiet month in the national dailies. The state-owned operator accounted for only 1% of the total news coverage. Compared to the private operators, their presence in the major print media outlets was minimal throughout April.
