An analysis of seven high-performing Bangladeshi YouTube talk-show episodes published in September 2026 shows strong audience interest in political personalities, governance, corruption and contemporary political debates. Based on data collected as of 30 September 2026, the seven episodes generated approximately 1.62 million views, 13,600 likes and 2,609 comments.
It is important to note that these figures represent a snapshot taken on 30 September, rather than the final lifetime performance of the videos. Since the episodes were published on different dates, each had a different amount of time to attract views, likes and comments. The videos remain available on YouTube and continue to accumulate engagement after the measurement date.
Thikanay Khaled Muhiuddin had three episodes among the seven highlighted performers. The 25 September interview with Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on corruption allegation recorded the highest reach at 426,000 views, with approximately 5 days available to attract viewers by September 30. The 10 September interview with Dr. Asif Nazrul reached 410,000 views over approximately 20 days, while the 3 September interview with Nurul Kabir, editor of New Age, received 181,000 views over approximately 27 days. The channel had 666K subscribers.
Other leading episodes included DBC (8.42M subscribers). Its 3 September Rajkahon episode, “যা রটে তার কিছুটা হলেও কি বটে?”, recorded 177,200 views over approximately 27 days, while the same day's discussion, “দুর্নীতি: আসিফ মাহমুদ বনাম দুদক,” generated 153,000 views over the same period.
Jamuna TV (30.9M subscribers) published its Rajniti episode, “চাঁদাবাজ ঢালাও অভিযোগ,” on 27 September. It recorded 173,200 views in approximately 3 days and also had the highest comment count in the dataset at 471.
Channel 24 (15.6M subscribers) published its Muktobak episode, “গণতান্ত্রিক রাষ্ট্র ও রাষ্ট্র ক্ষমতার দ্বন্দ্ব,” on 8 September. It accumulated 96,000 views over approximately 22 days and recorded the highest approximate engagement rate at 1.55%, based on likes and comments relative to views.
Overall, the seven highlighted episodes demonstrate that prominent guests, timely political topics and discussion-oriented content are major audience drivers for Bangladeshi YouTube talk shows. However, the different publication dates should be considered when comparing performance, as newer episodes had considerably less time to accumulate engagement by the September 30 measurement date.
